Origin

This Pouilly-Fuissé comes from a selection of plots along "Les Verchères" in the town of Chaintré. The harvest is done by hand when they are at full maturity.

Colour:

Brilliant, deep gold.

Nose:

Expressive with notes of citrus, quince, ripe yellow fruits and sweet spices (specifically vanilla).

Taste:

Rich, fruity, the light passage in barrels brings a brioche nuance, great volume and a beautiful and aromatic persistence.

Food-wine pairings:

Powerful and elegant, this wine will happily accompany gourmet cuisines: Poultry in mushroom sauce, a filet mignon, andouillettes, sweetbreads, Mâconnais dry cheeses.
